Family Halloween Fun
at Strong National Museum of Play®
October 27 & 28

Tots Halloween Party October 31

It’s a hoot! Little witches, pirates, and ballerinas of all ages are invited to don their costumes and come to Strong National Museum of Play® for two great family Halloween parties: a weekend family party and a weekday party especially for preschoolers.

Bring the whole gang for fun activities at the Family Halloween Party on Saturday, October 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 28 from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. Trick-or-treat with Mother Goose, Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, Alice from Alice in Wonderland, and other storybook characters. Join in the Monster Mash and other Halloween dances. See yourself in silly fun-house mirrors and get a tattoo at the Tattoo Parlor. Make Halloween crafts and enjoy Pumpkin Toss and other games. Climb aboard the spooky Strong Express Train for a game of “I Spy” (50 cents per person per ride).

The littlest trick-or-treaters will enjoy safe indoor Halloween fun at Strong’s Tots Halloween Party, Wednesday, October 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Trick-or-treat with Mother Goose and favorite storybook characters. Dance to Halloween music and create fun crafts. Play a game of “I Spy” on the spooky Strong Express Train (50 cents per person per ride.)

The Family Halloween Party and Tots Halloween Party are included with general museum admission fees.

Monday–Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.;
Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Sunday, 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
Admission Fees:
General Admission (does not include Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden®):
Adults $9.00; Seniors $8.00; Children (2–17) $7.00; Children younger than two free; Strong members free.
Admission to Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden®:
General Admission fee plus $3.00 per person for members and nonmembers; Children younger than two free.
Due to limited capacity, entry to Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden is by timed tickets only. Advance purchase is recommended. Please call 585-263-2700 to purchase timed tickets.
Parking:
Free parking is available at the museum for all guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that, on high visitation days, the museum lot may reach capacity early in the day. If space is not available on site at the time of your visit, you will be directed to additional parking at neighboring municipal garages (fees may apply).
