“Country Hoedown” School-Break Week
at Strong National Museum of Play® April 9 to 13

Howdy Pardner!

Rustle up some fun at “Country Hoedown” School-Break Week at Strong National Museum of Play® Monday through Friday, April 9 to 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Dress up like a cowboy at the Kiddie Corral.
• Kick up your heels with country line dancing and square dancing with professional caller Mike Callahan (Tuesday through Friday).
• Make a sheriff badge and other wild west crafts.
• Gather ’round the “campfire” for sing-alongs and storytelling.
• Ride the Pony Express stick horses to deliver the mail.
• Play horseshoes and cactus ring toss.
• Swagger into a western parade throughout the museum.
• And don’t forget to mosey over to the new Secrets of Circles exhibit. Make waves at the ripple table, carve wood into fanciful circular shapes, sit in a Vietnamese round boat, and lots more circular fun at more than a dozen interactive stations.

All “Country Hoedown” activities are included with general museum admission fees.

Strong National Museum of Play®, located in downtown Rochester, New York, is the only museum in the world devoted to the study of play as it illuminates American popular culture.
