“All Aboard!”
Family Trains Weekend
at Strong National Museum of Play®
March 17 & 18

Toot, toot! It’s “All Aboard!” for family fun when Strong National Museum of Play presents its annual Family Trains Weekend Saturday, March 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 18, from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. Little engineers will enjoy train displays, crafts, and family activities daily.

• Hear the whistles blow and watch the trains chug around displays by the Genesee-NOntario Model N-Gineers, the Flower City Tinplate Trackers, and the RIT Model Railroad Club.
• Join in fun train songs and games Saturday at 11:00 a.m., 12:00 noon, 1:30 p.m., and 3:00 p.m., and on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
• Hop aboard the Strong Express Train for a FREE train ride that is sure to delight passengers young and old. (Free train rides are included with regular museum admission fees during “All Aboard”!)
• Make a 3-D paper train engine and a conductor’s hat.
• Operation Lifesaver will be on hand to teach families train safety with a video display and colorful handouts.
• After you’ve enjoyed seeing model trains round their tracks, visit Secrets of Circles, the new exhibit that celebrates the science, engineering, and beauty of this simple shape. Experience a ripple table, climb into a giant truck tire, and enjoy other fun circular pursuits at 18 activity stations.

“All Aboard!” weekend activities and Strong Express Train rides are included with general museum admission fees.

Monday–Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.;
Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Sunday, 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
Admission Fees:
General Admission (does not include Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden™):
Adults $9.00; Seniors $8.00; Children (2–17) $7.00; Children younger than two free; Strong members free.
Admission to Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden™:
General Admission fee plus $3.00 per person for members and nonmembers; Children younger than two free.
