at Strong National Museum of Play®

Valentine’s Day with Biscuit

It’s puppy love! Have a fetching Valentine’s Day at Strong National Museum of Play® with Biscuit, the beloved canine from popular children’s books on Wednesday, February 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Meet Biscuit “in person” and give him a loving hug.
• Hear Biscuit’s Valentine’s Day and other tales of love at 11:00 a.m., 12:00 noon, and 1:00 p.m.
• Have your face painted with hearts, puppies, and bunnies; play special games; and create a Valentine collage.
• Decorate a postcard and have it stamped and mailed by the U.S. Post Office. (Be sure to bring the address of someone you love!)

All Valentine’s Day activities are included with general museum admission fees.

Family Concert: Ying Quartet

Enjoy a family concert featuring the Grammy-winning Ying Quartet at Strong National Museum of Play on Saturday, February 17 at 11:00 a.m. Quartet members will discuss how composers build music from basic elements and play compositions by Mozart and Beethoven as well as contemporary works for string quartet.

The internationally renowned family ensemble is the faculty quartet in residence at the Eastman School of Music. This concert is presented in collaboration with the Canandaigua Lake Chamber Music Festival with grant funding from the New York State Music Fund, established by the New York State Attorney General at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors.

The Ying Quartet family concert is included with general museum admission fees.

Strong National Museum of Play®, located in downtown Rochester, New York, is the only museum in the world devoted to the study of play as it illuminates American popular culture.

Admission Fees
General Admission (does not include Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden™):
Adults $9.00; Seniors $8.00; Children (2–17) $7.00; Children younger than two free; Strong members free.
Admission to Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden™:
General Admission fee plus $3.00 per person for members and nonmembers; Children younger than two free.
